Job description
We are looking for detail-oriented and dedicated Medical Coders to join our growing team in
Mohali. As a Medical Coder, you will be responsible for reviewing clinical documentation and
assigning appropriate medical codes for diagnoses, procedures, and services provided.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, B. Pharmacy, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Certification in medical coding (CPC/CCA/CRC) is a plus but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
- Certification (AAPC or AHIMA) preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze patient medical records for coding diagnoses and procedures.
Assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
- Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with current regulations and guidelines.
- Work closely with physicians, billers, and other healthcare professionals to clarify
documentation.
- Meet daily/weekly productivity and quality targets.
- Maintain the confidentiality and security of patient records.
